"Love is the felt experience of connection to another being. An economist says 'more for you is less for me.' But the lover knows that more of you is more for me too. If you love somebody their happiness is your happiness. Their pain is your pain. Your sense of self expands to include other beings. This shift of consciousness is universal in everybody, 99% and 1%."
There was a spectacular sunrise on Christmas morning appearing between about 6:30 and 7:45 I went out on the next morning, hoping to capture something similar, and I was not disappointed. These photos were taken over a period of about 90 minutes from the first light, through hints and then explosions of reds, and concluding with a lovely but less dramatic sky in shades of yellow and gray and blue. If you are an early riser, you might find it worth your while to venture out into the open countryside, look to the South East, and see Mother Nature at her finest as you watch and wait. The changes happen very fast often in less than a minute, as was the case with these photos, each of which is a unique capture of a special event.
A couple was Christmas shopping at the mall on Christmas Eve. The mall was packed.
Walking through the mall, the wife was surprised when she looked up and noticed that her husband was nowhere around. She was very upset because they had a lot to do.
So she used her cell phone to call her husband to ask him where he was.
Her husband in a calm voice, said, "Honey, remember the jewelry store we went into 5 years ago, where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we couldn't afford? And I told you that I would get it for you one day?"
His wife, crying, said, "Yes, I remember that jewelry store."
He said, "Well, I'm in the bar next to it”.

Three guys are on a boat and they have four cigarettes, but nothing to light them with. What do they do? They throw one cigarette over board and the whole boat becomes a cigarette lighter

is a volunteer outreach video project created by the Pathways Interns of NASA's Johnson Space Center. It was created as a parody (to raise interest and excitement for Orion's first flight) of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass”. The lyrics and scenes in the video have been re-imagined in order to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center.
NASA’s Orion spacecraft is built to take humans farther than they’ve ever gone before. Orion will serve as the exploration vehicle that will carry the crew to space, provide emergency abort capability, sustain the crew during the space travel, and provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocities.
It was pretty much "as usual" at Casa Mollie for most of the week. We really just slept and just lazed around. B G did a little decorating. He has a lot of stuff that he does not put out but that is all all right with me. B G says he is afraid that Sadie would chew on them.
Then on Friday we went out on the car. I like to do that.
We were going to see Dr. Brenda. She gave me a shot and trimmed our toe nails.
Always something to "sniff" here. B G said I had lost weight. I am glad. I am better able to run with Sadie now.
I am always ready to watch them work on Sadie.
She was hiding with the vet assistant.
Sadie was a good girl while my toes were trimmed.
Then it was my turn.
B G says this is his favorite picture of the day. I love Dr. Brenda.
Then we did our Trick treat. We sit so nice for treats. Sadie was wearing my leash and I wore hers.
We waited while B G paid the bill. He is handy that way.
Then our friend Jessie came. He has been gone for weeks. B G says that he is in the National Guard Basic Training. Sadie needs some training sometimes. Jessie is a great friend and he likes us.
He snuggles. See what B G got me for an early Christmas present. I like my new collar. It is pretty.
B G was glad to see Jessie. When he gets back from training he is going to move in with us. He and Andrew are good friends they went to High School together.
Jessie was doing a lot of "texting" I can't do that.
