Throwback Thursday

 Today would have been Miss Cassie's Birthday.

Unfortunately she left for the Rainbow Bridge.  We still miss her.

I really liked waking in the night to see and feel her on my lap.

She was Ginny's cat and then she was Jon's

 He took her with her to University and she did not thrive in that environment.  His roommate had a cat that did not get along with her so I allowed her to live with us.

She was fine there.  She could handle dogs, just not other cats.  So arrangements were that as long as Jon took care of the kitty litter she could with us.

 She liked men and some women.  She always "nipped" at Jon but it was just love bites.  She tried to do it with me but I didn't like that so she just had to be content with letting me scratch her ears.

She was not really good a purring but she was loving in her her way.

We miss her.

Molly and Todd (and Cassie) and our Birdies..

Molly here,

    It has been a good week for us.  BG had his hairscut and he went to dinner with his Sister Ginny and her guy Bruce.  It was Ginny's Birthday.

Cassie ventured out to the porch.  She has trouble navigating but she does like to go out on the porch.  BG and Todd and I sat on the porch.  BG read and Todd and I did our  sitting.  There was pair of wrens building on nest in the birdhouse and so we watched them  BG took a movie of them.  It was interesting for him to make a movie.  He tried stitching some of the clips together and it was interesting.

Todd likes to bother Cassie but she just ignores him.  BG makes him leave her alone.

He took a couple of movies about us also but they were shorter.

In the first one he was getting us to eat treats.  We like that.

Then he tried to get us to play but we didn't feel up to it so that is a short one.

Here a close up of the Birdie.. Not sure which one it is (there are two) but it is noisy.

You can't really hear them until about 1:37 but then you can and you can also hear the Cardinal in the bushes.  I love our birdies and so does BG,  Then you can hear the kids from the north....they are noisy.  They yell at each other all the time and BG then gives up and reads inside.. But he can still hear them.  Makes BG mad. But he a grump sometimes.

Molly, Todd (and Cassie) on Monday

    BG has been sort of sad this week. There was a great disturbance in the Force.  Because of that he has not taken many photos this week.  Todd and I have been getting lots of hugs, scratches (and of course treats) because of something that happened.  He has not been his usual self.

We spent some time napping and chewing.

BG had to sweep fiberfill up several time.

He isn't happy about that.

Todd was around outside.

 He made me play with him and BG.

Todd is still camera shy.  Every morning Todd and I play.  BG tries to get us to play but as we get the camera out we only got 28 seconds and then he quitted playing with us. 

Todd was playing outside.

I napped.

We did get one picture of us playing but as soon as BG took the camerea out Todd went to the kennel and went into hiding.

BG did get some pictures from his camera phone.  We think that he does a great job with it.

Mollly (and Todd and Cassie) on Monday

 Good Morning,

              Nothing much to report this week.  B G took some more pictures of us and other than that we have just enjoying the spring.

I love my spot.  I can see lots through the window.

I watch and then BG and I have conversations.

BG is a good listener but I am not sure he understands the language.  But that is all right - notice my toenails.  BG says I need to have them trimmed.

 Todd enjoyed the backyard.  He stole my birthday presents and totally destroyed one of them and the other one is just chewed.

BG says he is still a puppy.  BG likes this picture because it looks like he has bed head....actually it is his tail sticking up.  He looks like a lion.

I have been enjoying the porch.  I hide under the table.   Todd is coming inside in the porch also.

BG brings his wine out to sit and reads.  It is hard for him to read because the kids (both sides) are noisy.  Then Todd sees them and barks at them

I hide out so they can't see me.  BG says he likes this photo a lot.

Poor old blind old kitty cat.  She isn't in any pain and she stays around the house.  She seems to be as well as could be expected.

She climbs up on BG's lap at night and sleeps part of the night with him

Treat time.

Todd is still being shy around the camera so there aren't many pictures of him.

It is nice when the kiddo's come in for supper and we can just relax and enjoy the quiet.  Thanks coming to see us.  BG says that Todd's toenails also need trimming.   That will be fun.
