Sunday, March 8, 2015, found me driving, scouting and photographing a variety of images found in the vicinity of Jasper County, Iowa, in an area of many square miles south east of Newton. This eclectic gathering of images shows bright colorful contrasts, a Texas Longhorn, that is about a thousand miles from its pasture, numerous barns in various styles and ages, wall murals, a rolling hills landscape with wind generators, a running horse with all four feet off the ground, and a solitary tree looking beautiful in its simplicity.
