From 1961 to 1989 Mother and Ginny and I went to Leech Lake in Minnesota. We collected these driftwood and carved and painted birds from the Whittle Shop. We loved them and they were always on display in our home. We also got some to use as gifts. I even gave some to my hosts' in Greece when I visited there.
