Molly on Monday

 Molly here.

It was raining earlier and I did not like that.  My feets were wet and muddy and I also did not like the thunder noise.  After the weather cleaned out it was 70 degrees and B G let me run around and I had fun.
B G said the grass is going to get green.  He can't wait.

He some photos for me.  He says the color of my coat is like honey.  I love honey....B G likes it also.

I was outside earlier listening to yapper.  (that is name B G calls to the neighbor who makes me come inside when he starts to yap...that is why I call him yapper.

This was a picture of B G that took of him....I think that he should not go to the bathroom where B G can take those kinds of pictures.

B G watching me look around at the screened porch so he can get it ready for spring. Then we can out and sip and watch the birdies.
Cassie was around looking outside also. B G says she will like it when the porch is ready to enjoy.

My flowers are still looking nice.  B G told me he felt like I had taken a good photo.
Then I took a nap.  Have a great week everybody.   Woof!

Sunday

 The quieter you become,
the more you are able to hear.

Death has nothing to do with going away. The sun sets
The moon sets
But they are not gone.

"Each element of the cosmos is positively woven from all the others...The universe holds together, and only one way of considering it is really possible,
that is, to take it as a whole, in one piece."

There is a morning inside you waiting to burst open into Light.

Rumi
The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them.
~ Thomas Merton

Found for Friday

A guy goes into a bar, orders four shots of the most expensive 30-year-old single-malt Scotch and downs them one after the other.

The barkeep says, "You look like you're in a hurry." "You would be too if you had what I have," said the guy. "What have you got?" "Fifty cents."
The most important thing to know about becoming a urologist is that you have to be able to go with the flow.
A longitude walks into a bar and starts bragging about all of the women around the world that he has gone out with. The Bartender says to him... "don't give me that International Date Line."
A blind man walks into a bar, grabs his dog by its hind legs, and swings him around in a circle. The bartender says, "Hey buddy, what are you doing?" And the blind man says, "Don't mind me, I'm just looking around."
An Apple computer walks into a bar. The bartender says, "what'll it be, Mac"
Helium walks into a bar. The Bartender says "Sorry, we don't serve noble gasses here." Helium didn't react.

A will is a dead giveaway.

Throwback Thursday

My sister found another "fish" story for me.  This is another with my Uncle Harold and me with my Cousin Scott (called Scotty) and was taken in 1969.

"Desiderata" "desired things"

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Max Ehrmann (1872–1945)

I had this in my classroom for many years. It has been a favorite of mine for years.

Footloose

After watching the Jimmy Fallon skit on the T V the other night I did a little research on Kevin Bacon.

Bacon starred in the 1984 box-office smash Footloose. Richard Corliss of TIME likened Footloose to the James Dean classic Rebel Without a Cause and the old Mickey Rooney/Judy Garland musicals, commenting that the film includes "motifs on book burning, mid-life crisis, AWOL parents, fatal car crashes, drug enforcement, and Bible Belt vigilantism." To prepare for the role, Bacon enrolled at a high school as a transfer student named "Ren McCormick" and studied teenagers before leaving in the middle of the day. Bacon did earn strong reviews for Footloose, and he appeared on the cover of People magazine soon after its release.  Read the article here.

I am glad that I saw this.  I do not like Jimmy Fallon.  I am not a regular listener but I did catch this.  Kevin Bacon is someone not regularly on my radar but I am becoming a fan.  I am working through the "The Following" through Nexflix. AND have liked Bacon's wife, Kyra Sedgwick for her work on "The Closer".

Molly on Monday

                                                     Molly here,
I have bunches in the Blog today.   B G. let me run around and then he let me take a nap in the ramp.  It was fun.   I also took some time on the Computer updating my calendar.  I have been busy and more to do,  I like Spring.

B G. took a couple of pictures of the clouds.  He still likes to take them.  I took another nap.

B G went to the Greenhouse and brought a nice of bunch of flowers.  Cassie thought they were for her and so she had to try to eat them

I had to take guard duty to keep Cassie from thinking they were for her.

Then I had an another nap.

There are some of my other naps.

And took another nap while sleeping.

This another place I go to sleep.
This is B G's favorite place to sleep.
And here is my Brother Miles and his new puppy.  (It isn't really his but he lives with Jon's roommate and so I get to play with him) - His name is Totoro.  I don't know where they got the name but B G Googled the movie My Neighbor Totoro so B G thinks they got the name from the movie.  Totoro likes to compute also.
Jon  says Miles jerks the toy and Totoro around and they both seem to enjoy it.

Miles shares food but is also always trying to eat Totoro's food..

Jon says  Miles is a little rough at times.  He says they play tug of war and Miles throws the puppy goon his back.  He says the puppy could let from the toy if he really minded.

Jon also said that the puppy peed on Miles a couple of times. H think because stay out of his way.

I am glad that Miles has someone to play with.  Of course I would not like it if he had peed at me like he did to Miles.  I (Molly) is at much a lady to ever make in a mess in the house.  B G says he might get me a puppy.  That might be fun.
