TBT - Eastern Star Memories

 I joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1966 right after I had joined the Masonic Fraternity.  I have loved my fraternal association and had many friends.

This is Edna and she was one of my mother's favorites (mine too) and we had a lot of fun.  One time when was Worthy Matron she had a little Styrofoam cup labeled HERS and another for the District Instructor.  She said that it stood for Help Edna Remember Speeches.

This Erma.. another of my favorite Sisters.  She was one of the Nine Worthy Matrons I served with.  Here she is putting the station of Adah ready.

And, of course, there are always cookies (or cake or dessert) after the meeting. Good Friends and Good times.  Nothing better than a Throwback Thursday.
