Throwback Thursday ~ 50 Years an Eastern Star

While this is something that happened yesterday it seems that it fits with Throwback Thursday as it was 50 years ago when we were initiated into the Eastern Star.

Three members of Eastern Star received 50 year certificates this week-end.

We ate together at Battlecry Barbecue.

Karen Mannes, Dean Flummefelt  and I are members of Polk City Chapter.  We were originally initiated into Laura Chapter, Ames but consolidated with Polk City 2012.
