The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us to say
this Dua when we look at ourselves in the mirror:
“Oh Allah, as You have perfected my outward
creation so too perfect my character.”
He didn’t say “if you’re beautiful you should say this Dua”
…I love this Dua because it presupposes that you ARE beautiful,
and that Allah (swt) has absolutely perfected your creation,
regardless of what outside influences try to tell you.
Dua not only helps us to come closer to Allah (swt),
but also teaches us so much about ourselves and the beauty
that is within each of us!
