Nubian, lop eared goats . Photos by Bob Kelly

This small herd or Nubian, lop eared goats sure provided lots of interesting viewing!   In the first photo Mom and her kid, enjoy a nose rub!
The next photos show the two color variations that were there, and these kids were a cute as they could be.  Next one gets hungry and food is always available on demand!

The little kids were frolicking and jumping around and having a good time, which you can see in a couple of the shots.

When Mama Nanny has an itch on her behind, the best thing to do is scratch it, and so she does on a fence next to their pasture.

As I left, the same Nanny was looking at me longingly and a bit sad I think, seems she wanted me to stay.  Don’t worry….chances are I will be back!

Night Music ~ . Shoshana Bean "Make It Rain" LIVE at the Theatre at Ace Hotel

Found For Friday

Upon arriving home in eager anticipation of a leisurely evening, the husband was met at the door by his sobbing wife. Tearfully she explained, “It’s the druggist – he insulted me terribly this morning on the phone.” Immediately the husband drove downtown to accost the druggist and demand an apology.
Before he could say more than a word or two, the druggist told him, “Now, just a minute – listen to my side of it. This morning the alarm failed to go off, so I was late getting up. I went without breakfast and hurried out to the car, but I’ll be damned if I didn’t lock the house with both house and car keys inside. I had to break a window to get my keys. Driving a little too fast, I got a speeding ticket. Then, about three blocks from the store I had a flat tire. When I finally got to the store there was a bunch of people waiting for me to open up.
I got the store opened and started waiting on these people, and all the time the darn phone was ringing its head off. Then I had to break a roll of nickels against the cash register drawer to make change, and they spilled all over the floor.
I got down on my hands and knees to pick up the nickels – the phone is still ringing – when I came up I cracked my head on the open cash drawer, which made me stagger back against a showcase with a bunch of perfume bottles on it, and half of them hit the floor and broke.
The phone is still ringing with no let up, and I finally got back to answer it. It was your wife – she wanted to know how to use a rectal thermometer.
Well, Mister, I TOLD HER!”

I just threw out a gallon of spring water.
I figured that since it's now winter,
it must be way past its "use by" date.

Toad Tales

Entelodon (Ent-tell-oh-don), meaning "Perfect-Toothed", was a large ancestor of hoofed animals (mainly pigs). It could grow up to two meters tall,
about the size of a rhino, and weighed up to one tonne. Entelodon has been described as the 'pig from hell'. They were aggressive, and could easily fight off many predators.

Night Music ~ Perry Como - Catch a Falling Star (Audio)

Molly and Todd on Monday

Molly here,

What a week,  We had rain, ice snow and now there is mud coming.

The other thing is we had baths.

B G sprung to a spa day and so a nice lady came and trimmed our nails an clipped our hair and un-matted our hair.

Todd did not do well (squirrelly) but he finally got through it and did I now we are both beeeeeautiful again.

B G keeps telling we are so good-looking.

And then we had rain and snow.

And then is was fun time to play in the snow.

 Even a little movie.

Then we took naps and then while we are sleeping the lady came to read the meter.

But B G is the only one who saw her.   Todd and I were napping from our frolic in the snow.

And then there was more snow and then sunshine.  And MUD!

That is the way it is in Iowa.  Just wait 5 minutes and the weather will change.

Thanks for stopping to see us.  Hope you have a nice week!  Woof!
