Once an ancient Roman farmer went for a hike in the woods and found a berry bush growing there. It was a variety that he had never seen before, and the berries were very good, so he took it back home to put on his patio.
A neighbor suggested that it might be valuable, and he should have it appraised, so he arranged that. About an hour later, there came a knock on his door. Opening it, he found a man in a toga, and another in armor and carrying a sword. The farmer asked, "Have you come to appraise my berry bush?"
The man in the toga said, "I come to seize your berry, not to appraise it."
