Apiarian

"Were I to be the founder of a new sect, I would call them Apiarians, and, after the example of the bee, advise them to extract the honey of every sect."  - Thomas Jefferson

Proverbs 31:10-31 King James Version (KJV)

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
...  She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
... She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness…. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.  Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

In the field of spirit there is no division; no individuals exist.

The day came
when the risk to remain tight in a bud
was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom.

“Compassion is not a virtue -- it is a commitment. It's not something we have or don't have -- it's something we choose to practice.”

"May your journey
through the universal questions of life
bring you to a new moment of awareness.
May it be an enlightening one.”

Any time women come together with a collective intention, it's a powerful thing. Whether it's sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens.
Phylicia Rashad
