Toad Tales

Understanding Monarch Migration
Saw the David Letterman show with the Bird Callers. I wondered about this bird so I did a little research. I do love the interwebs!
Pyrrhuloxia “Whale song is a form of communication,” says Ben Welsh, executive creative director, M&C Saatchi Sydney. “It’s a form of communication that the scientists at The University of Queensland have been able to decipher and learn. I was intrigued by this fact and so we asked ourselves whether it would be possible to emulate a male humpback: to write our own love song and then play it, using the instruments of an orchestra? Could we serenade a humpback ourselves? Then imagine what could happened if the whales were to hear our song. We thought that would prove that when it comes to communication, anything is possible.”

Molly on Monday (with Sadie, Cassie and B G)
Molly here,
B G took a lot of pictures this week. He had a problem and now he has a big bandage on his head.
You can see the spot and the bandage. B G says it is itchy and he has been taking pills to take care of his headaches.
But he is glad that he a good a doctor and nurse and he got the skin cancer taken out of his head.
Sadie and I were worried about him and we took care of him. We are all good friends.
Then he takes us outside.
We like to run.
There are bunnies under the porch.
We have been digging. B G is not happy with that.
B G has one bush that is beginning to bloom.
Then we come in a running.
B G says we make short work of our dinner. B G used to eat fast also. Maybe he was a bad example..
Then we do some more "bunny watching."
I am ready for my Close-up Mr. DeMille.
Thanks for coming to see us.
B G is napping a bit. He said the stitches will come out on Wednesday.
Have a good week! Woof!!!

Transformational Truth 8: Osho
Every man has his woman within him and every woman has her man within her. Only the meditator comes to know his whole being. Suddenly his inner woman and the inner man melt and merge into each other. That creates an orgasmic state in him. Now it is no more a momentary experience that comes and goes; it is something that continues, day in and day out, like the heart beating or breathing.
~ Osho
One of the great ironies of life is this: He or she who serves almost always benefits more than he or she who is served.
- Gordon Hinckle"
"Any time women come together with a collective intention, it’s a powerful thing. Whether it’s sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens."
- Phylicia Rashad: an American Tony Award-winning actress, singer and stage director
"It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it."
- Dale Carnegie
"Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is a daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart."
- Mahatma Gandhi
The better we understand the nature of mind, the more deeply we will be able to see into the endless chain of cause and effect that is Karma. This understanding not only allows us to avoid or reduce the negative actions that harm others or ourselves and the suffering caused by these, but also lets us cultivate and increase positive actions which create well-being and happiness."
- Kalu Rinpoche: was a Buddhist lama, meditation master, scholar, teacher and one of the first Tibetan masters to teach in the West
When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.
