The Sanctuary's three newest residents - Hadari, Sukari, and Rosie - are settling into their retirement. Our EleCams recently recording Sukari and Hadari taking turns carrying around a 110 lb tractor tire placed in their habitat for enrichment. All three elephants are retired from the Nashville Zoo. Hadari and Sukari reportedly can get excited when sharing space. Hadari did not share unsupervised space with Sukari and Rosie in their former home. They now share a fence line to give them opportunity to get reacquainted safely and on their own time.
