Harold Arlen and “Yip” Harburg wrote “Over The Rainbow” back in 1938 for Judy Garland to sing in “The Wizard of Oz”.
What seems a fairly straight-forward song is actually quite a bit more complex. Watch as composer Rob Kapilow explains some of the intricacies of the song. It will give you a whole new appreciation for this magical song! “Words make you think thoughts, music makes you feel a feeling, but a song makes you feel a thought.” –Yip Harburg
