Sunday

Christianity is a journey through Christ into the mystery of God. If we get to that goal, we will have left Christianity behind, not because it was wrong, but because God transcends the limits of every religious system.
Bishop John Selby Spong.
“The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It’s not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It’s encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way.”

~ Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder and Ajq’ij of the Eagle Clan

 "Wisdom says we are nothing.

Love says we are everything.

Between these two our life flows."

~Nisargadatta Maharaj

"Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content."

~Helen Keller

"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to the body and soul."

~John Muir

"Forgiveness is the greatest weapon."

~Neem Karoli Baba

"When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength.
Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no

reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself."

~Tecumseh, was a Native American leader of the Shawnee

“Loving kindness is the spirit of friendship toward yourself and others.” ~Sharon Salzberg

"A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved."

~Kurt Vonnegut

For, none may tell another how to be beautiful. It must be the reflection of that entertained in the heart and mind of the individual. And as He is beauty, He is friendship, He is love, the more and the nearer individuals reflect that in their conversation, in their dealings with their fellow man, the greater the glory to Him. ‪#‎EdgarCayce‬ reading 2574-1
"O Great Spirit, help me always....to remember the peace that may be found in silence."

~ Cherokee prayer
