Phrog knew that the Dragon Triplets had captured the Magic Parrot because they thought he was cute. They were not malicious at all, they did not know about his magic powers. They just wanted a pet. They had enticed him by telling him come with me to the Casaba. The dragons had used a bloodhound to find him but the bloodhound passed out due to poor respiration.
They took a picture of the parrot and put it on Facebook. Phrog saw the picture and asked the Canada Geese to look for the parrot. Using modern methods they communicated by following the gravity lines and sent their messages via spider webs to sea shells which acted as receivers. Once they found him they enticed him with a cracker into their cunning trap. Then they taunted him by saying: Nyah nyah, nyah, curiosity killed the cat! They had a charming Victorian cage to keep him in that they had found by the railroad tracks (The cage had probably fallen off from a passing train).. They put it in the tower room and fed it tomato soup with salt and pepper on it. The parrot was content, but it did want its freedom back.
Words for next week's 10-word challenge are: officer, candid, drowning, turtles, sugar-coated, prospecting, shame on you, reclinder, luggage, brains
And for the mini: paragon of virtue, cats-in-the-cradle, swamp, sprinkles, garbage

I like those modern communication methods! Probably more reliable than the internet.
The parrot had a strange diet. Clever the way that trapped him.
I love how you weave all of these words and phrases into a coherent ongoing story each week.

Now we know where our Magic Parrot for our Magic Parrot soup went.
We want it back.
Wow! This is creative imagination at work! I love it! And I do enjoy the Phrog/dragon conflicts... you never know what they will be up to.
