Random Rants

I am very disappointed in the writing on General Hospital. I mean, you know they are now writing conversations with Sonny talking with his daughter and using, like - you know about 10 times.  Either they are writing it in or Maurice (plays Sonny) is phoning in his performance and not really learning his lines.  I put the blame on them because this Soap Opera just keeps going downhill.  They  have let so many people go that the pedestrian actors who are left are essentially saying the same things over and over again.  And as far as Dante and is girlfriend are concerned there is just no chemistry there.

As far as Lucky is concerned I would like to see him swallowed up by the magic well he went overseas to visit on the command of his dead wife.  They (the writers) don't seem to have any plan as to where they are going with the story and they need to get back to the caliber it used to be.

Well, they have done it.  The Republithugs have been riding the same merry-go-round for so long some of the dizzy *&^&*rds are starting to fall off.  They don't have anyone who I could seriously support -  It seems all they want to do is make things so impossible for Mr Obama to accomplish anything.

One of the things he should be doing is enforcing the laws of our country.  In the civics class I took in High School I was taught that was the duty of the Executive Branch.  The Legislative Branch wrote the laws and the Executive Branch enforced them.  The Judicial Branch watches to see that the laws fit within the Constitution.

He should show that he understands the function of his office by sending his minions after the law breakers on Wall Street and in the banks.  Also after the preachers who deliberately flout the laws by preaching politics from the pulpet. And he should have gone after those from the previous administration who broke the law.  We are supposed to set the standard for the rest of the world. We aren't setting it very high.

As for Congress.  They think we have short memories.  Well some of us do.  But when it comes to raping the environment, ducking responsibility and letting things they do just slide on by they may find that our memories are longer than they were hoping for.

As for the picture below - it speaks for itself. -

Congress needs to spend less time on this and on whether or not the National Motto is "In God We Trust" and more time on creating jobs and getting this country moving again.

I did say "random" - Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, j
