I had a great time driving around Ames and took some pictures - And I am very glad that I did as we had some storms and most of all the flowers in the trees went off with the wind. So we now have a chance to remember them. Of course there will be more but not as splendiferous as before the winds came. Enjoy them.

Beautiful spring colors in your drive by photos. You drove past some lovely spots! I am particularly fond of that small plot just past the railroad viaduct near Brookside park, with its purple Redbud trees.
