A Morning Sky Double Header Photos By Bob Kelly

I went out to photograph the sunrise today, but before it occurred I noticed the beautiful partially eclipsed moon setting in the western sky at 6:32 AM.  Just 12 minutes later a beautiful fireball sunrise shone over the ethanol plant two miles east of Nevada, IA, at 6:44 AM.   It was a lovely still morning in the fading moonlight and in the brightness of the morning sun, as the birds sang and smells of sweet clover drifted through the cool air.  It was worth the early wakeup!
