Technicolor Ledges - Photos by Bob Kelly

Few state parks in this country are loved more than our own Ledges State Park south of Boone.  There is something to see and savor anytime one goes there, but right now it is in the final stages of displaying its fall color burst.  It is worth the drive over there, to wind down the canyon road, slowly to absorb it all, and when you get to a parking area, do park your vehicle and stroll about among the grass, weeds, limestone cliffs, and meandering creek.  Soul food!!
