I rather agree with Rachel and her guest. I like long evenings and late summer time to sit and relax.

Remember when the Iowa Legislature was debating Daylight Saving Time back in the 1960s? WMT radio had a local late-night talk in those days, and the topic of the evening was Daylight Saving Time. I SWEAR this is a true story! A lady called in. She was in her 70s, sounded like. She war agin DST. A lot of her lawn got full sun, and she didn't want another hour of sunlight on it. She was spending enough on watering her grass already. DST passed despite her objections.

Actually I do remember her. Every year. She is one of those I have carried with me for years and I still get a chuckle out if it.
