Kurt and Lyssa and the Prince and Princess decided to go the the Renaissance Faire with me today and it was a wonderful time, Much more fun to see things through the eyes of kids and they were wonderful. The both dressed for the occasion.
The Princess got a new hat. Dad wound up carrying it for much of the day but it was handy to store things in. The Princess Tote.
Kurt put the hat on for a minute after she decided not to wear it but it looked better on her.
The Prince had his face painted
And the Princess chose a beautiful Phoenix for her arm.
They both got gifted with swords. I think the Prince is more serious about his fighting stance than the Princess is.
The jousting was fun to watch. There is a movie below you can watch.Of course the good guy lost.
They had a "forking" Queen who knighted the boys and made princesses out of the girls. I guess she didn't know that she was being redundant as she was already a princess.
It was a beautiful day and perfect weather. Of course there were some mud covered "dirty" wenches running around but they were too fast for my camera. You can see all the pictures here.
