This tired and slightly leaning corner fence post, no longer has to help hold the fence tight and straight, but can now just relax and be a lovely focal point to this country still life. The bright yellow flowers are called Rosinweed, and by this time of year often reach six feet in height, and put on a lovely display like you see here. This kind of view, with the tall, tasseled Iowa corn behind it, and the lovely blue skies and clouds, makes for an idyllic image!
Enjoy the moment, or better yet go out into the country on a quiet gravel road, and find your own contemplation spot!
