Fireworks at Iowa Games - Photos by Bob Kelly

Friday evening was the night for opening ceremonies of the Iowa Games held in the ISU football stadium. After the ceremonies were over there was a spectacular fireworks show just across the road from Reiman Gardens. The city fireworks of Ames were not presented on July 4th, as was the case over most of central Iowa, because of rain. In Ames, we finally had ours on July 12, but Friday evening we had this impressive round as well. They make my grandson Charlie very happy! Enjoy!
