Unfortunately neither he nor other politicians seem to realize that for some schools success depends largely upon environment and parental involvement. I taught in a college community. If the parents were involved, the students did well. Even those without college degreed parents proved this rule. More so than any other rule. You cannot tie success in a school to numbers from a test. All "No Child Left Behind" did was make George W. Bush's test making cronies richer.
