Miles' (Family) on Monday

I don't have any new photos of Miles this week but I stole these of his brothers. Or at least two of his brothers.

Miles was one of a litter of nine born July 21, 2009

They are Collies.

Top is Riley, a tri color and below is Charlie a Sable. They were adopted together and live in New Jersey.

Miles is known as a Blue Merle.

Below that is Mile's cousin Lisa. She is a Sheltie and is a sweetie.

It is unfortunate that she was treated so poorly by a previous owner. The person (and I use the term loosely) who had her kept her kenneled all the time so she wasn't really socialized properly. She was also de-barked and now has a raspy bark. I think treating an animal that way is close to criminal and I feel so very sorry for her. She does have my sister now and Ginny is taking good care of her. Perhaps she will work out of it with a lot of love and patience.

Miles was unhappy again tonight. They were doing the fireworks from last week's postponed because of rain display and he was back and forth pacing around the living room barking out the window and generally not wanting to settle down. He will be one happy camper when Jon gets back tomorrow.. I will try to get some pictures of the event.

Peg sent me the information about Miles' family that I had lost.

Miles is from that same litter. Miles was born July 21, 2009.

Elle has had one litter with Hero born 12/16/2007

and one litter with Sienna born 07/21/2009

and one litter with Mister born 04/11/2010.

Miles' litter mates are the two boys in Rhode Island, Riley and Charlie.

Vanna who is in Floridia.

Sierra who is in Montana( she was a "stud fee" puppy and I only hear about her from The Whites~Sienna's owners) Winchester who is in Danville Illinois.

Rookie who is in Bettendorf Iowa.

Sally who is in Wisconsin..

Shannon who is also in Illinois...
