Newt Gingrich Blasts New ABC Comedy ‘GCB’ For ‘Anti-Christian Bigotry’

GCB stands for Good Christian (Belles or Bitches - your choice) - I have seen two episodes and while it is not great television it is a fun show to watch. I doubt that Mr. Gingrich has ever seen the show.
The show does not attack Christians but rather those hypocritical people who call themselves Christian while going behind backs for purposes of retribution. They want to get even with a mean girl from High School who has fallen on hard times and has to move back in with her manipulative mother played by Annie Potts (Designing Women).
I also like Kristin Chenoweth -- a lot and I love to hear her sing.
One Million Moms (not really one million) are also against the show. Once again I doubt that they have seen it, or if they have they don't like the mirror which it holds up to them.
There are some really good Christian people out there and they do good things. But for Newt, a politician on his third wife and who was brought up on ethics charges to criticize this show is just ludicrous.
I really hope that ABC ignores them and gives the show a chance. As I said I don't see this as attacking real Christians but there are a lot of so called Christians who are fair game as far as I am concerned and this show nails it.

all they need to do is not watch it if it bothers them
Sadly, Speaker Gingrich still thinks that he's relevant, and that people listen to him. He's already moved to Mars. Who CARES what the old whale thinks?
