A Productive Day!

Tim and I put in about 6 hours of work at the Masonic Lodge today. We are on a Committee to set up the Iowa Academy of Masonic Knowledge. The piles of books on the table were ones I brought from home.. I found two more I want to read out at the Lodge and borrowed them.
We did a lot of brainstorming and talking and nailed down some things that we hope to see happen with the Academy.

He and I discussed Masonry and how to learn/study about the fraternity. We bounced ideas back and forth and came up with some (I think) good ideas and activities we want to see happen. Actually it was what I had originally thought of for what became Specialis Procer Lodge as a place where Masons could sit around a Festive Board and discuss Masonic ideas and share thoughts with fellow Masons.

I have good feelings, once again, about my participation in Masonry. As long as it does not entirely take over my life and stays in perspective.

The "boys" and Cassie were alone all day except when Jon came over to let them out. Not sure how it happened but a bottle of tooth-picks was knocked on the floor and was all over the place. I don't know who to blame, Miles, Bailey, Cassie or Jon but I did have to spend about 10 minutes picking the damn things up..

Tonight I found out that one of my Facebook friends (I still have some in spite of being unfriended) changed his religious views to Pastafarian - Thinking of joining. Now I am going to hunker down and veg out watching some TV... NCIS night and Glee. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, j
