1 cup Flour
3 T Baking powder
¼ tsp Salt
¼ cup Brown
sugar, packed
4 T Butter or margarine
¾ cup Apples
½ cup Raisins,
rinsed in hot water and drained

1 cup Quick-cooking oats
1 large Egg
½ cup Milk
TOPPING
1 T Brown
sugar
¼ tsp Cinnamon

Procedure

In medium bowl,
combine flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar.

Cut in butter or
margarine.

Stir in apple,
raisins, and oats.

In another bowl,
beat egg and milk together.

Add to oat
mixture.

Stir until
moistened.

Fill muffin cups
(greased or paper lined) 2/3 full.

Combine topping
ingredients.

Sprinkle on top
of muffins.

Bake: 350°,15 - 20 minutes.
Yield: 12 muffins
