Simply Sunday

Yesterday's trip home on the Black Ice took a lot out of me. I was not ready to get out of bed this morning. (Of course the fact that Jon was over and was in a talkative mood and kept me up late didn't help either but that is OK. That is what this old Uncle is for)

The whole deal is that I really didn't accomplish a darn thing today except the laundry. I didn't go out of the house and I didn't shave. I heated some soup up for lunch and ordered a Pizza in for supper. This afternoon I slept. I has a hard time keeping awake so I just slept in the recliner. The tension of driving on the black ice and seeing so many cars and trailers, etc. in the ditch just took a lot out of me. So in lieu of "my" wit and wisdom today I give you some Ageless Wit and Wisdom sent by Anne. Thanks Anne and for the rest of you. ARTYRL - Hugs, j

Better be careful Jay. Humor like this could get you kicked out of your chosen political party.

The party wasn't chosen. It was the only option after Ronald the Reagan gave the Republican party to the religious crazies.
