Sac County, Iowa & Barn Quilts - A Bob Kelly Photo
Sac County, Iowa has a very high concentration of "Barn Quilts" on most of the barns you see along major highways. This tired, but distinguished barn with an old tree for a friend, sits among a field of soybeans, just south of Early, Iowa, on Highway 71.

When I think of Iowa, I imagine something like this photo.
I'm hosting my first day trip to this area of Iowa. I took forward to seeing the barn quilts and visiting other sites in the area.
