A group of cattle congregated in the corner of a fenced pasture, posing for me, and giving interesting foreground to one of my favorite farm sites to photograph.
The corn is now tasseling, so pollen can fall onto the silks of the ear and create all those little kernels of corn that many mammals like to eat!
Summer means Hollyhocks, and there are lots of them around rural Iowa right now, in lots of colors!

I used to grow hollyhocks; pretty flowers, and easy to grow and spread.
