Unfortunately some religions are like the fly frozen in amber. Beautiful to look at but when you look close you see a dirty insect that will never change. Today the world has changed from what it was during the time of Abram (later Abraham) who at age 75 left his home and became the "father of multitudes" and was the founder of the people who started the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religion. Over the millenium things changed. It is just in the last few centuries that the writings of these people became the "word of God" and was frozen in amber and tried to stop changing. However, change is the law of life and it will happen, however painfully and hopefully the end result will be justice and peace for all of God's people.
