I stole the above picture from Google. I really like it and make no apology. To me it represents the power of the Internets and the ability to find things out. I can "google" most anything and as a result my life is enriched. I used to tell the students that they were better clothed, would travel further, eat better and live in a more comfortable home than the kings and nobles who ruled the world. And they are. And we are. And we can find out more things and can communicate instantly with people all over the world.
I have no idea what influence I may have when I teach. Some of my students are teachers, some are parents, others are pastors. One (at least) is a policeman. Who knows what influence I had on them?
This blog is read around the world. When I started it I had no idea that it would be read by people all around the world. Hopefully I have made some difference, although it just started out as a way of communicating with my sister who lived out of state and others who were interested. I also like to tell jokes and it was a way of sharing them. Now- who knows, I have about four or five people who make comments so I know somebody reads it.
The above were sent to me by a friend and came under the heading "points to ponder." I leave you to ponder them.
You know it drives me nuts, you know when I see errors using there, their and they're also. As well, I mean, see and seen, altar and alter. Oh hell they all drive me nuts, I mean and so I didn't have much else to write about, and so I decided you know to just fill space by doing this post. Sorry about that. If you don't like it talk to the Honey Badger. That's all for Thursday folks. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, and one more thing I just got.
Thanks, John.
