Monday I had to be in Des Moines at 9:00 AM to have my car serviced. I was there by 8:10. They got me in. I had my computer with me so I could check on things while I waited, There were a lot of people in the waiting room and it was a pleasant experience.
Next it was out to the computer place to have some work done on my computer. I had to have some more memory put in to see if that would help with a problem I had. I got there just at 10:00 AM just as they were opening. I was told I cold pick it up in the afternoon. Which was fine as I had to go across town for an 11:30 AM meeting.
I got there in plenty of time and decided to drive through Starbucks for a coffee,
The sign looked like this 1.95 grande - I asked for the $1.95 Coffee
Starbucks - "It will be $2.07 with tax"
me - "Everything has tax this is Iowa."
Starbucks - " You want the Grande."
me- "the sign is so small that these old eyes can't read that tiny print."
Starbucks - (Still in a condescending tone) - "I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were ordering."
me - "You know what F$%^k you and your Coffee. Forget it."
So I left with no coffee. Went to my meeting (lunch) and it was good and went back to pick up my computer. Came home to Molly and was happy to see her as she was to see me.
I didn't need the coffee (but it would have been enjoyable) and I don't usually do that sort of thing and I do know he has a shit job but why he felt he had to argue with me. Why he could not just take the order and let it go. Any why if they want me to call it Grande they can't make the sign large enough to read is beyond me.
Then last night I got an e-mail from an asshat telling me that I was anti-american, a socialist and un-masonic. He didn't like my blog. I told him if he didn't like it not to read it. I need to post the Disclaimer more prominently.
Oh and to top it off I forgot to change the alarm so it went off at 6:30 AM this morning. Probably a good thing as I had fallen asleep last night and not done Tuesday's Post. So here it is, Have a good Day. And Hugs to everyone except the guy from South Dakota.

it probably is not worth conveying, but I am curious to know on what grounds Mr. Nasty thought you unamerican and a bad mason.
He did not get specific. He just wrote the following.."Please remove me from your email list. Your blog appears to me to be anti-american, pro-socialism, and un-masonic." My comment on his note to someone was "I find his comments objectionable so I wrote him back after deleting his e-mail address from my distribution list. I will accept the pro-socialism but the anti-american and un-masonic are particularly egregious. I would imagine that the Companion is a tea party rebublican (sic) so I will just chalk it up to his ignorance However I would hope someone would remind him that it is not anti-american to express ones personal views and that he is bordering on un-masonic conduct when he calls me un-masonic"
Wow! These are pretty much the same accusations they fling at Mr Obama. To be compared to the President of the United States of America is a real honour, Jay.
