This is a recipe from my nephew Jon. I have not tried it yet. He loves it. Seems to me it would be a good thing to have for a tailgate. Not that I have ever been to a tailgate....
Reuben Dip
Ingredients
- 16 ounces sauerkraut, drained
- 8 ounce package of cream cheese,
softened
- 16 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
- 8 ounces thin sliced corned beef,
cut up OR shredded cooked corn beef
- 1/4 cup thousand island dressing
- 2 teaspoons caraway seed
Directions
- Put all in crockpot on low heat
or slow cooker for 2 hours.
- Mix up.
- Serve with rye triscuits.
Note:
- 8 ounces = 1 cup
