Lodge of Specialis Procer

We had another wonderful time last night at Lodge. We are small in number but the brotherhood is excellent. We had a short stated meeting and received a petition for affiliation.

Then Brother Ken Davis who is Master of Vitruvian Lodge in Indianapolis and the son of a very good friend of mine here in Ames was our guest and our speaker at the meeting. His remarks were very well received and will be published on our new blog Scire facis - The papers of Specialis Procer Lodge. This is a major component of our Lodge. We take care of the business very quickly and then retire to a festive board where we listen to and discuss papers. The discussion last night went on until after 10:00. And then a couple of the guys were there talking until about 11:30. If you are ever in Des Moines and want to join us let me know.
