The Brothers of Arcadia Lodge met tonight to Raise Brother Joel to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. I am very impressed with this new Brother (But then I am usually impressed with the men who join our Lodge) and his ability to think on his feet and his sincerity when he expressed gratitude for the efforts to bring him into Lodge and the work that goes into a degree. What he doesn't know is that it is one of the best things that we, as a Lodge, do. It is one of the things that we are all about. Initiating, Passing and Raising and we have been doing it for hundreds of years.
