It Was An Iowa Sky Show Today!!

Bob Kelly went out and took some more photos to share. He writes:

The late afternoon sky put on quite a show for those lucky enough to see the large cumulus clouds to the east of Ames. The sky was crying for some landscape photos to be taken, so I did so!! The countryside, the barns, the rows of crops, the cow standing atop a hill for a better view, the eco friendly wind generator, and the beautiful sunset captured the essence of Iowa in the summer. I enjoyed the several hours I spent capturing and processing these. Days and scenes like these are good for the soul! Enjoy!

This is great. Really portrays how beautiful the Midwest can be.

Cumulus clouds are the best. Nice, big and fluffy. The last shot with the sun behind the cloud is awesome. Mother nature at her best!
