And don't forget to go to Raven's Nest to see all the others.
The words for this week's ten word challenge are: sow, close, console, lives, minute, polish, bass, pussy, complex, resume
For the mini challenge: bow, sewer, house, import, intern
"Phrog, You can't expel them from the Society," said Sallyie, "First of all he is an intern as well as a pledge and when he said 'Break a leg,' he was wishing you good luck. He is from a theater family and is just trying to import the phrase into the house. You can't throw and entire group down the sewer for something you didn't understand. Besides the Dragons would criticize you for doing so. Just take a bow and get on with the ceremony."
Phrog decided to resume the complex ceremony and picked up the pussy cat and set it on the bass guitar that needed polish. It just took him a minute and the entire class was entered into the society and their lives, were changed forever. He was ready to console LaGi for his loss of the election and as he went to close the book he heard the words "What ye shall sow, that shall ye reap."
Next Week's Ten Word Challenge will be: Chorus line, clam chowder, apples, jack-in-the-box, puddles, Iran, quarry, housekeeping, speed, letter
For the mini challenge: motorcycle, grandiose, summer, flying off the handle, blue jays

You really packed them in there this week along with some very good words to be wise.
Well done as always! You forgot to sign Mr. Linky!
No, It wasn't up when I finished.
Glad to see that Phrog relented. Have a great weekend Jay.
You do such a good job of using the words in a very short story. I am too wordy ---well, my husband thinks so anyway. He's very quiet, so I guess I just need to fill the space with chatter.
I loved it. I too am glad Phrog repented before he gives secret societies a bad name.
You always create such wonderful pictures with whatever words you get.
WE dragons are so glad that Phrog changed his mind otherwise we would have had to eat him.
Our `society is still better than the Royal Order of Salamanders.
I'm glad Phrog was talked into letting the people back in. It was a very good story.

Some idioms do not translate well. I'm glad Phrog had a change of heart!
And he did not incur the wrath of the dragons.
I am glad for the peaceful conclusion.
