If you're like me, you'll put up with a lot of malarkey in a movie just to see Helen Mirren wielding a semiautomatic weapon. You may argue that Helen Mirren wielding a semiautomatic weapon is also malarkey. Maybe so, but malarkey doesn't get any better.

I think that just about nails it. I had forgotten that Helen Mirren was in the show. She is marvelous. The smallest facial tic becomes an incredible piece of acting. Just a look from her conveys tons of meaning and she does it without seeming effort.

Come to think of it all of the main group of aging super spies do this. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and John Malkovich but Mirren is the queen of the show.

Warning, don't take the movie seriously. It is of the "Oceans" genre in which a group (ensemble) of actors take a premise that could be heavy (killing people) and turns it into a fun romp. It is escapism at its finest. I had fun and you might also. Go see it if you wish. Have a great rest of the week-end. j

We saw the movie today and I thought it the most entertaining movie I have seen in a long while.
Ms Mirren in a white dress touting a nasty gun was priceless.
