I was saddened to hear this; I still have one of my first christmas albums on which she sings Joy to the World. I thought it was her song.

Oh, my. I somehow missed this news and am just learning about it here.Yes, she was an utter marvel. Even as a little girl I experienced her singing as truly mesmerizing.May she rest in peace.
