Stuff The Bus

The Iowa State Daily (Student Newspaper) is sponsoring (for the 8th year) the Stuff The Bus Food Drive. I went to HyVee tonight to meet someone and saw the above in the parking lot.
Fortunately I had my camera and I went in after doing my shopping (and making a donation) and took some pictures. They are off to a good start. They will be there until 8 PM tonight and tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Some of the things they are looking for:
Food: canned vegetables and fruit, canned beans, soup, cereal, peanut butter, Jell-O, pasta and spaghetti sauce, crackers, mac 'n cheese, boxed meals, rice, potato mix, tuna, ramen noodles, cake/brownie/muffin mix.
Personal Hygiene Items: shampoo and conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.
Infant Needs: diapers, (sizes 4, 5, & 6), baby food,(especially stage 1 & 3) formula (especially Similac) wipes, new bottles and other baby items.

Money: to purchase foods that are in high demand. for as little as $2. you can provide a meal for a family of four.

Buses are located at the two HyVee stores as well as the two Fairway stores.
