Monday Night

I went to a Second Degree in Des Moines tonight and listened to what Ron said a little differently. He mentioned the inner secrets of the soul that Masonry teaches.

Speculative Masonry requires us to think not merely hear. to absorb not to let the lessons slide off from us. It teaches us that we are builders for eternity and that there are spiritual truths. He told the candidate that "Masonry points the way but you must travel the road yourself. The great Masonic goal is a life well lived."
