Abandoned Cart.

Today I went over to the Story County Court House.  This is the memorial just outside the Court House.  I voted (see below) paid my license for my Jeep.  It is so old that it doesn't cost much at all.  But I had to use my cash because they would not take my debit card.  I don't know why Discover has a wrap on the system.  Fortunately I had cash,  I never pay my auto license this early.
Then it was over to the Driver's license station and renewed my Driver's license.  The new one is good until 2013 and since that is one year after the Myan calendar ends I should be all right.  This is my old school where I used to teach. I haven't been back for ages.  I stopped at the grocery store and picked up a cowboy ribeye for supper. It was scrumptious also some Honey Liquor which I had never had before.  Gave me an excuse to use my cordial glasses.  I love the flavor and will be sipping it all evening.

These next pictures are the neighborhood where the school is located.  I love the trees and the streets in this area of Ames. There are some beautiful homes here.  You can see a corner of the school in this photo.  That is the new Art Room. The old Art Room was in the basement and was really a crummy place.  Now the kids can look out the window and see this scene while they are creating their art.
I love vines.  This one is on Oakland Street.  I love the way they grow up and are all interconnected.

And, of course she is voting for the right candidate. (I mean the left candidate)  You Go Carol! 

I was supposed to go to Clarion tonight but completely spaced it off.  I think I need a keeper. Oh well, such is life when you are a silver surfer.
