A Perfect Adventure - Masonic Road Trip

Kurt and Craig and I took off this morning to go to the Amanas - the first place we stopped was the Brewery. That makes Kurt very happy. Beer to go in big jugs.
As always they have "stuff" to sell.
Craig and Kurt and I sat under the Hops vine covered lattice work and enjoyed our drinks. I had a very nice cream soda. The temperature and the company was just right.
As always I get to take the picture but I was dressed in the "uniform of the day" also.
We went to one of the many Amana Restaurants for lunch - the Brickhaus. Very nice.
No it is not our waitresses' picture on the bottle. She was cuter.
Some "Red Hat" Society ladies were having lunch there. I always like these ladies as they always seem to be having fun when they meet and I love their hats and purple dresses.

Kurt stole my camera and got a picture of Frank(right) and me (left (appropriate)) at dinner after the meeting. We are even more secret than the Order of the Salamanders. And we eat better, also.
And then on the way home we were treated to another beautiful Iowa Sunset as we rolled along Interstate 80 from Amana to Des Moines. Our Road Trip was a success.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I have to move all of the furniture from the living room as I am getting new carpet on Monday. I hope to hell I like it. Sleep well. Hugs, j
