2nd Round voting

Sylvia’s high school chorus has entered a Holiday Idol contest on a local radio station. They made it past round one and now are going on to round two….. We need as many votes as possible so that hopefully they can move on to round three….. I am asking that if any of you have time tomorrow (Monday, December 10), please take a couple of minutes and cast a vote (or votes) for the North Polk chorus. Details on the website is listed below. You can vote multiple times if you so desire…..

I am sure many of you are aware of this – but just in case – The NP Choir sent in a tape to Lite 104.1 for their Holiday Idol contest. Theirs is one of the 10 currently out on Lite 104.1’s website and is in competition against other nine schools. The winning school gets to perform at two shows (Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes at the Civic Center and Tonic Sol-Fa concert at Hoyt Sherman Place). On Friday it was Norwalk against Audubon. Monday will be another two schools; Tuesday another two schools; etc. I don’t know which day our choir will be listed on the site but I plan to check it each morning after 7 a.m. as they are to have it updated each day at 7. On the day NP is listed, we need as many votes as possible so that we can move on to the next round and hopefully the finals!! Please pass this on to as many people as you know and ask them to vote for North Polk when we are listed. The website is: www.lite1041.com Then click on the Holiday Idol area (where it says “more”) and it will then show you the schools. You can even click on each school and listen to their song.
