Blake Edwards the screenwriter, producer and director best-known for the hugely successful Pink Panther film series in collaboration with the comedian Peter Sellers, died Wednesday evening at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica of complications from pneumonia; he was 88. His wife, Julie Andrews and family were at his bedside when he passed. Story here.
I have gratitude for the talent which brought so much entertainment into our lives and sympathy for his family.
