The following weather photos were taken Friday evening April 24, 2009 between 6:49 and 7:15 PM in the Ames area, generally looking to the NW and W. The Mammatus clouds however were shot just above my house in Ames at 7:15. In the first photo it appears the jet plane is taking a quick and evasive turn to the NE!Bob Kelly
