Spring Beauties Show Off

These Spring Beauties were showing the delicate shades of yellow, white, pink, and lavendar all over Bookside Park on Friday, April 17. You can find them out in the open areas of the park under many of the trees, or walk on the forest trails and find them there as well. They are only about 1/2 inch in size, and the closer you get to them, the better they look!!

There were numerous Wood Aneomes showing themselves as well, looking somewhat like a strawberry blossom!

Even the mud banks along Squaw Creek contributed beauty and texture!

I love spring beauties. Great job capturing such tiny blooms.
